Pension schemes can now share information with the regulator and make changes to their scheme details whenever they need to. The Pensions Regulator's new online scheme maintenance system Exchange launches today, following the successful roll-out of the online scheme return system.
Exchange has been created so that schemes can input data as and when they need to, and information that was previously requested via paper forms can now be provided to the regulator online. The online system provides the facility to: register a new occupational scheme; make changes to scheme details; apply for a waiver against the Pensions Regulator general levy; and inform the regulator once a scheme has wound up. From June schemes will also be able to pay their levies online by direct debit or debit card.
Using the Exchange scheme maintenance system, schemes will be able to update their details as and when changes occur. Exchange has been designed to make it easy to update your scheme details, and will enable the regulator to hold the most up to date and accurate information. Help and FAQs are available on the site.
