The effect of a clearance statement
- A clearance statement only relates to the applicants, the relevant scheme and the events described in the application. For further information see paragraphs 157 to 159.
- The granting of a clearance statement does not have any impact on the regulator’s powers, other than the power to issue contribution notices or the power to issue financial support directions (as applicable).
