Some documents are for sole use by the Pensions Regulator and contain information that is exempt from disclosure under part 2 of the code. This includes employment, payroll and staff performance records as these relate to individual members of staff and are covered by the Data Protection Act.
Some information held about procurement and other financial and accounting records are exempt to protect commercial interests and to ensure that the regulator’s internal financial controls are not compromised.

In April 2005 Opra (Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority) was replaced by the Pensions Regulator. Most Opra publications have now been replaced but a few are still available, such as Annual Reports.
